The new Model 955 fandriven, ionising blow gun, from Meech Static Eliminators Ltd (an ISO 9002 registered company) has been designed to remove static charge and dust in a wide range of industrial applications, particularly in locations that are either hard to reach with conventional blowers or where there is no convenient installed compressed air supply. The portability of the gun means that a single unit can be used at different locations, ensuring maximum utilisation, while its swivel hose provides ease and flexibility of operation.
The integral air inlet filter ensures that clean air is delivered to the target area and optimum performance is sustained through the provision of an easily removed nozzle for quick and simple maintenance.
A holster, with wall or floor mounting option, provides safe storage of the gun when it is not in use.
The gunís variable fan speed, providing air velocity of between 75 to 150 meters/sec at discharge, means that it is suitable for applications requiring different levels of air velocity. An electrical centrifugal fan provides the high velocity air flow, thus avoiding the need for costly compressed air.
Ionisation is provided by titanium emitters, located in the nozzle of the gun, powered by a high voltage DC source, providing fast processing times. The decay performance, 1000V to 100V, is typically less than 0.5 secs at 600 mm from the nozzle at maximum air flow.
The gun has the advantages of built-in alarm system, which provides can easy check that the ionisation system active. It requires only single phase 240V supply, making the unit fully portable. .
