Programmable Temperature Scanner from Ambetronics Engineers

Category Testing and Measuring Instruments Suggest Category
Mumbai, India based Ambetronics Engineers offers Programmable Temperature Scanner.

Ambetronics has introduced a 8-point low cost temperature scanner, Model No TC-800. It can accept J, K (thermocouple), Pt-100 (3- and 2- wire), 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 10 V DC inputs.

The J, K thermocouples are field programmable and field selectable, and other inputs are factory settable. With built-in cold junction compensation, the unit has built in channel ‘Skip’, channel ‘Hold’ and fast manual scanning facility.

The two set points for each channel with common relay 1 and relay 2 are given with separate 1 NO/C/NC height with 8 LEDs for relay.

On indication. Five feather touch contacts- Mode, shift, INC, ENT and print keys- facilitate easy operation.

The channel auto scanning time is programmable from 0 sec to 59 sec.  The optional RS 232/computer centronics parallel port is available on request which gives direct online printing on 80/132 column printer, hence no need to have separate PC for printing. The unit is very compact in standard size of 96 (W) x 96 (H) x 170 (D) mm with cabinet made of ABS plastic.

I am somehow less interested in the weight and convolutions of Einstein's brain than in the near certainty that people of equal talent have lived and died in cotton fields and sweatshops. - Stephen Jay Gould
