Workholding Chuck with Pull Down Insert

April 2, 2008- Northfield Precision Instrument Corporation is a leader in the design and manufacture of precision workholding air and diaphragm chucks. Northfield introduces an enhanced air chuck Model 620CB with a pull-down insert.

We have now added the Model 620 CB Air Chuck which features a precision MT-5 adapter. Parts are diesel fuel injection nozzles for O.D. profile grind on Tschudin Anglehead grinder. Chuck has sub-jaws, pull down inserts and carbide ball nose shafts mounted on No. 15 taper sleeves. Carbide shafts run concentric to 1/10,000 T.I.R. Inserts repeat to 1/10,000 T.I.R. Inserts grip nozzle, center the base and pull the nozzle seat onto the carbide ball nose shaft.

The world's most accurate air and diaphragm chucks for any lathe, boring machine or grinder or VMC. Models include through-hole, high-speed and quick-change chucks. Available in SAE or metric, in chuck sizes from 3" (76mm) to 18" (457mm). Accuracies of 0.001" to 0.00001" (0.254m) guaranteed. Manufacturing applications for air & diaphragm chucks include, but are not limited to, turning, grinding, boring, milling, measuring, inspection, material handling, robotics, CNC, EDM. All machines - rotating, stationary, vertical, horizontal. Universal workholding - internal, external, thin-wall, rigid.
